Oscar Mortley is a contender on season three of The Glee Project.
Oscar is sweet, charming and passionate most of the time, yet if someone dares to hurt his friends or family, he becomes like a brick wall. He's very protective of the ones he loves, and wouldn't dare let anyone hurt them; he's the class clown, and always makes people laugh.
Oscar grew up in a busy city with a fast-paced lifestyle, with his older sister Emily. His mom and dad were always working, so he was often left in the scare of his sister. Oscar adored his sister, and they were inseparable, until one agonizing night when Emily was tragically beaten to death by a gang of thugs who had been hanging round the estate for some time. The family mourned, yet Oscar's parents got over their daughter's death pretty swiftly, much to Oscar's annoyance.
In high school, Oscar wasn't very popular, although he wished to be immensely. He was in the school choir, and that's when the bullying started; every day, Oscar returned home covered in cuts and bruises. His grades fell (he was previously a straight A student), yet a couple years later, his friends finally twigged what was happening and the bullies halted. He was never popular. The bullying has scarred him for life.
